Under the general direction of the supervisor, the Blow molding operator is responsible to perform a variety of duties besides operating a blow molding machine.




Operate blow molding Machine

Interact with PLC

Program and adjust setting to maximize efficiency

Maintain blow molding machine at standard speed

Make adjustments to ensure quality bottle.

Maintain out put consistency

Minimize downtime and product waste

Insure the application of GMP’s and SOP’s at all times.

Communicates mechanical issues to Supervisor or requests help directly from the mechanics.

Getting the line ready for the mechanics.

Performing line sanitation.

Interfacing with Supervisor through the run.

Obtain respect of fellow coworkers.

Be fully capable of performs to meet daily production goals.

Demonstrate behavior necessary to achieve acceptance as blow molder operator and team player.

Demonstrate quality standards.

Demonstrate capability of meeting daily production goal.

Stack bundles on pallet.

Move pallets to warehouse location.

Document all procedures being carried out.

Input data into AS400.

Maintain production area.



One year work experience.

Hands-on experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment e.g. manufacturing methods and procedures.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Basic math skills.

Effective written communication skills, including legibility.

Strong attention to detail.



Demonstrated ability to perform blow molding operator task.

Team-oriented and willing to work collaboratively with mechanics and supervisor.

Demonstrated an initiative and desire to work in a dynamic work environment with multiple demands.

Poised, confident and capable of interacting effectively with line runner and support group.

Ability to navigate through multiple computer screens and perform data entry.



Physical effort required for a variety of physical activities to include lifting, walking and standing at

workstation. Ability to see letters and numbers on paper documents (near vision).

Ability to talk and hear persons contacted on the job.   Maintain body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking constantly. Able to lift and carrying up 50 lbs. objects, occasionally. Able to bend and twist occasionally. Ascending and descending ladders using the feet, legs, hands and arms occasionally.
