Job Description


We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Counter Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while assisting them with their parts needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for the automotive industry, ensuring a positive experience for every customer.

Duties
  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting truck parts and services.
  • Operate cash register and process transactions accurately.
  • Utilize industry software to manage orders and track inventory levels.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to ensure satisfaction while maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Provide knowledgeable advice on parts services and products to enhance customer understanding.
  • Maintain phone etiquette by answering inquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Assist in inventory control by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and improve overall customer service.
  • We will train if no truck parts experience.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in parts or truck / automotive service environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cash register operations and basic financial transactions.
  • Strong negotiation skills to effectively communicate with customers regarding pricing and services.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to foster positive customer relationships.
  • Ability to manage inventory control processes efficiently.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning about truck parts and services is essential.
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage stock effectively.
  • Basic computer skills

  • We will train if no truck parts experience.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
