Job Title: Member Service Coordinator
Job Summary: We currently have an exciting, career opportunity for a Member Service Coordinator located in Torrance. This position will provide ongoing support, reporting and update of internal & external documentation functions for multiple departments.
•Provide online support for Providers, Members and Clients
•Provide assistance for testing and submit tickets when needed
•Provide assistance with Provider Updates and Contracts
•Update Claims and Imaging Queues / Rules / Routers
•Create; maintain correspondence, templates and mailings
•Work with Correspondence letters in test and production environments for Claims & Eligibility Depts.
•Review refund / voided checks for Clerical Unit prior to submission to Accounting
•Enter claims into company computer base program
•Perform Claims Registration
•Compile Claims Inventory Count Daily
•Review and audit claims and images; Audit performed three (3) times per week
•Provide Policy & Procedure updates for Clerical Team
•Other Duties as Assigned
•Candidates must have 3 years of Administrative Assistance background.
•Basic math skills essential, as well as the ability to collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions. Must have excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access preferred.
•Will be able to prioritize and work in a fast pace environment.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
•Education: High school diploma or general education degree.
