Job Description
Helpmates is looking for ALL types of assemblers to work for a Manufacturing company based out of Orange, CA. This is a Temp to hire position and we're needing specialists to have experience with assembling cables using microscopes and small hand tools. Responsibilities:
- Performs various tasks requiring knowledge of assembly techniques, tools, materials
- Assembles electromechanical instruments or fabricated parts to make subassemblies or complete instruments using hand tools, power tools, and special tools and/or calibration equipment.
- Follows assembly shop and production operations sheets, wire lists, samples, blue- prints, schematics and verbal instructions to perform a wide variety of assembly operations.
- Utilizes small hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers.
Electro-Mechanical Assembler Education:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent education and experience.
Electro-Mechanical Assembler Experience & Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 year minimum of assembly experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment ·
- Ability to follow schematics and assemble wire harnesses is a must. ·
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, engineering prints, and schematics.
- Ability to use standard power hand tools and custom tools, gauges, and other calibration equipment and assembly fixtures.
- Strong organizational skills through demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage time
