Job Description

As our Shipping Clerk you will be working cross functionally with production, receiving, purchasing, quality control and transportation companies to exceed customer expectations and meet our on time delivery goals. You will be empowered to apply a continuous improvement methodology throughout the scope of responsibilities in order to eliminate non-value added activities to provide greater customer value.
Duties

As our Shipping Clerk you will be working cross functionally with production, receiving, purchasing, quality control and transportation companies to exceed customer expectations and meet our on time delivery goals. You will be empowered to apply a continuous improvement methodology throughout the scope of responsibilities in order to eliminate non-value added activities to provide greater customer value.
Duties

Ensure a safe environment by prioritizing safety opportunities and promoting a safety culture

Meet customer delivery and quality commitments and be responsive to customer needs

Meet on time delivery and department productivity performance goals
-
Maintain the organization of the shipping floor
-
High School diploma or equivalent
-
3 or more years experience in warehouse environment
-
3 or more years experience utilizing an ERP system and Microsoft Office programs
-
(i.e. Excel, Access)
-
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively with team members
-
Must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and stretch for extended periods of time
