Job Description

Helpmates is seeking a Purchasing Administrator to support the Procurement Department with essential administrative tasks and ensure smooth operations.

Pay Rate: $20.50 - $25.00/hr.  (Depending on experience)  
Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm 

Job Duties: 
  • Send out RFQ for bids
  • Prepare data packages for RFQ
  • Send out Open Order Reports to Suppliers
  • Highlight any problem areas and reports to Procurement Team Leader
  • Generate effective communication, good relationships, and a positive image with suppliers and co-
  • workers promoting courtesy, objectivity and fairness
  • Liaise with planners to control scheduling of parts to ensure stock levels meet demands while staying
  • within stock level buffers
  • Review Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)/Withhold tags written against suppliers and relays such
  • information to them with corrective action
  • Update suppliers with engineering changes and drawings
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, secure and legal work environment, adhering to all Company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and protect the confidentiality of the Company’s information and products.
Requirements: 
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
  • High school diploma 
  • Willing to work overtime if needed
