Job Description

Helpmates is seeking a responsible Electrical Inspector in Huntington Beach to test, inspect, and document electrical components and assemblies used in the manufacturing of aircraft interior parts at various stages of production. This role requires proficiency in using standard electrical measuring equipment, including Ohm Meters, Power Supplies, Multimeters, and Hypot Dielectric testers. Job Duties:
  • Interpret and read engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and customer/company specifications to ensure accurate part manufacturing.
  • Inspect, test, and document incoming electrical components used in aircraft interior assemblies, checking for defects such as assembly issues, soldering, crimping, wire stripping, and bonding.
  • Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with standards throughout production.
  • Perform functional and dimensional testing on aircraft interior electrical components at different production stages.
  • Inspect and calibrate precision measuring equipment using NIST traceable calibration standards.
  • Document inspection results, testing procedures, and non-conformance reports as needed.
  • Verify that electrical products are properly packaged for shipment.
  • Travel as required to support supplier audits and inspection programs.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of direct experience in electrical inspection or quality control
  • Strong understanding of quality standards and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
  • Experience with precision measuring equipment calibration.
  • Proficiency in writing inspection and non-conformance reports.
  • Familiarity with electrical testing tools and techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure product compliance.
  • Willingness to travel for supplier audits and inspections.
Education:
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Associate degree, Trade/Technical School, or relevant certification preferred.
