Job Description

Helpmates is seeking a dedicated Stockroom Supervisor on 2nd Shift with forklift experience. The Stockroom Supervisor oversees daily stockroom operations by assigning and distributing tasks to meet goals and guiding the work of Stockroom Clerks.

Schedule: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM with potenial overtime to start at 1:30 pm. 
Payrate: $26 - $30/hr. 

Duties: 
  • Oversee stockroom staff and evaluate their performance.
  • Manage procurement of supplies, tools, and equipment for the stockroom.
  • Supervise inventory transactions and material receiving processes.
  • Address and resolve routine operational issues.
  • Ensure adherence to stockroom procedures and best practices.
  • Oversee cycle counting and inventory planning for current and future needs.
  • Generate and maintain usage and performance reports for management.
  • Assist with complex or unique assignments as needed.
  • Foster open communication among staff and share updates affecting the organization.
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Lead or assist in specific projects when required.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Protect the confidentiality of company information and products.
  • Support the team by contributing to shared goals and objectives.

Requirements: 
  • 1 - 3 + years of relevant experience.
  • Open to both entry-level and experienced candidates.
  • Teamwork experience.
  • Familiarity with FedEx, UPS, and DHL shipping.
  • Forklift experience
