Job Description

Job Title: Return Material Authorization Coordinator
Location: Walnut, California 
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Pay: $19
Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm - Weekend overtime 
The RMA Coordinator plays a critical role in managing the return of materials and products within a fast-paced manufacturing or logistics environment. This role ensures that returned items are accurately received, logged, and processed in accordance with company policies and customer agreements. The RMA Coordinator collaborates with production, warehouse, quality assurance, and customer service teams to streamline the reverse logistics process and minimize disruption to the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, evaluate, and authorize return requests from customers, vendors, or internal departments.

  • Issue RMA numbers and instructions based on product type, warranty status, and reason for return.

  • Track all RMA shipments and ensure timely arrival and processing at the facility.

  • Work closely with warehouse and quality teams to inspect, test, and determine the disposition of returned goods (e.g., restock, repair, scrap).

  • Maintain accurate documentation and data entry of RMA transactions in the company’s ERP system.

  • Coordinate replacement shipments or credit memos in collaboration with customer service and finance teams.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required; 

  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment, preferably in returns, inventory, or quality control.

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is strongly preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Solid understanding of inventory control and return logistics.

  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
