I am currently recruiting for a Merchandiser Administrator for a large retail company in DTLA.  You will help support the Buying department run reports, and reconcile SKUs.  This is a temporary position with a pay rate of $14.50/hour.  My client is looking to interview candidates this week. 

  • Responsible for purchase order entry and updates.  Receive order information from merchant and enter into system in an accurate and timely fashion.  Similarly, receive and process order updates and re orders from merchant, and process those via purchase order systems.
  • Produce and format an on-going set for weekly reports as well as ad hoc business reports as directed by team.
  • Input designated SKUs for markdown into appropriate merchandising system as directed by  Buyer.
  • Keep track of and communicate status of upcoming POs.  Work closely with Buyers, and Assistant Buyers to gain and maintain understanding of specificed business area via frequent touchbases, including key vendors, UDAs, trends, and preferred report formats.
  • High school diploma, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Banking, or retail background a PLUS
  • 1+ years Administrative experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must be a team player, exhibiting good communication skills and flexibility
