Helpmates is currently looking for an outstanding Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk in Torrance, CA.

Job Summary: Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk will assist in the processing of invoices and payments within the Accounting department.

 

Responsibilities of A/P-A/R Clerk:

 

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Processing daily banking by allocating entries to the appropriate general ledgers
  • Process weekly ACH, Wire and check runs
  • Assist with the audit preparation process
  • Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries regarding discrepancies and perform reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Inventory adjustment processing
  • Cash application entry back up

 

Requirements and Qualifications of A/P-A/R Clerk:

 

  • 3-5 years of pertinent accounting experience
  • Experience with Dynamics AX is a plus
  • Competencies in MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with extreme professionalism
