Bilingual Spanish Human Resource Employee Relations Specialist

We are a leading manufacturer in Orange County focusing on supporting health and wellness.! We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Human Resource Employee Relations Specialist to support the Human Resources Department and our Employees during these unprecedented times.  The Human Resource Employee Relations Specialist will provide general support, answer questions, and be part of a team that responds and coordinates COVID19 related challenges; assists with and/or responds to escalated employee relations.

*Must be Bilingual Spanish*

 Human Resource Employee Relations Specialist Responsibility:

  • Oversee our call out program by answering a dedicates line of voice messages from employees regarding absences, questions, concerns, leaves of absences, and COVID19 questions and concerns. 
  • Make outbound calls to employees to follow up on symptoms and reasons for calling out or as part of our We Care program.
  • Maintain confidentiality, respect, and concern for the employee’s wellness.
  • Assist with the escalated call and coordinate with the team on steps to resolve challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication 
  • Employee relations intake possible escalation as needed.
  • Data entry, update employee files.
  • Maintain a company code of ethics.
  • Make follow up calls to ensure each employee is reached. 
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

 

Human Resource Employee Relations Specialist Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience is a plus
  • 1-3 years of entry-level Human Resources experience.
  • Intermediate Level Microsoft Office Applications with Word/Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritize work, and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Paramount sensitivity to and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Familiar with LOA, Workers’ Compensation, and FMLA.
