We are in the need of Mixing / Blending Machine Operator for 1st Shift and 2nd Shift to work at the world-renowned Amway-Nutrilite facility in the city of Buena Park.


Duties and Responsibilities of Mixing / Blending Machine Operator:

  • Weigh Up includes calculating quantities of ingredients; weighing and measuring ingredients; performing mixing operations; recording raw material usage; transferring finished compounds to holding vessels; cleaning and sanitizing mixing and storage vessels; assuring all chemicals and products are handled and stored to avoid contamination in accordance with standard production formulation, mixing instructions, state, federal, FDA and GMP regulations.
  • Blenders Set up and start all mixing tanks and blenders.
  • Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMP guidelines
  • Obtains and understands all documentation for making batches.
  • Ensures correct ingredients are used for each batch. Records lot # for each ingredient.
  • Pumping and pouring chemicals into blend tanks in predetermined quantities.
  • Operates equipment (mixers, scales, meters, pumps, forklifts, etc.) safely.
  • Monitors the raw material used on each blend to ensure they are added correctly with right weights.
  • Ensures all raw materials returned to inventory have the right quantity and information on containers and containers are in good condition.
  • Follows lab instructions regarding batch approval, adjustments, and any additional requirements.
  • Cleans equipment when needed.
  • Refers issues/problems to lead/supervisor person(s).
  • Communicates with material handlers and packers when materials are needed and batches are ready to pack.
  • Completes all paperwork and batch documentation in a timely manner.
  • Observes safety requirements set forth by the company.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

1st Shift: Monday – Thursday 6:00 am - 4:00pm

2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 4:00 pm - 2:00 am

Pay: $14.10/hr - $14.60


  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must be able to read/comprehend written and oral instructions in English, including safety rules, operating procedures, product recipes, material identification, etc.
  • Must have mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Able to perform these operations using weight and volume measurements.
  • Able to manipulate powder bags up to 100 lbs.
  • Good troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to drive a forklift – have a valid forklift certification.
  • Previous experience mixing / blending chemicals.
