Customer Support Associate - Urgently hiring in Santa Monica!

Job Title: Customer Associate
Pay: $25-$28 (based on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP

As a Customer Support Associate, you’ll be the friendly, helpful face for our customers, providing essential support and ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care. You’ll work closely with the Office Manager, sales team, and other office staff to deliver excellent service and keep our operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do
As a Customer Support Associate, you will be responsible for
  • Answer incoming calls and reply to customer emails in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer questions, order inquiries, and general requests.
  • Provide customers with clear information and assist with straightforward questions and concerns.
  • Gather necessary details when customers report issues and ensure they reach the right team members.
  • Follow up on open matters to ensure customers receive responses or resolutions.
  • Maintain a calm and helpful demeanor, even when customers are frustrated or issues arise.
  • Prepare, organize, scan, file, and distribute customer and order-related paperwork.
  • Assist with routine administrative tasks to support daily office operations.
  • Keep customer records accurate within company systems and support team members as needed.
  • Communicate order status, shipping, and availability details to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to obtain order information or resolve customer problems.
  • Help escalate complex or unresolved issues to the Office Manager and ensure proper follow-through.

What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have
  • 3-5 years of customer service experience
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A friendly, professional, and helpful attitude.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Dependability and punctuality.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Ability to speak confidently with customers over the phone and via email.
  • Good judgment about when to resolve issues independently or escalate.
  • Patience and composure when managing customer concerns.
  • A team-oriented mindset and willingness to help with various office tasks.
  • Experience with high-end home fixtures and furnishings is a plus.
