We are seeking a contract Digital Marketing Specialist to offer support to the Digital Marketing team of a large reputable automotive pioneer in Orange County! The Digital Marketing Specialist will work with the Digital Marketing team to execute online and social media marketing (SMM) strategies and roadmaps. Use existing electronic delivery channels to identify innovative ways to engage and interact with customers and potential customers, to drive awareness of and demand.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will assist in developing and implementing an onboarding email strategy and continue to enhance and develop the existing email platform while monitoring and responding to social media and email inquiries. Work with the Digital Marketing Lead to develop and implement new online content such as blogs, infographics, etc. Possess strong and creative writing skills to bring digital content to life.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute online and social media marketing (SMM) strategies and roadmaps.
  • Use existing electronic delivery channels to identify innovative ways to engage and interact with customers and potential customers, to drive awareness of and demand.
  • Develop and implement an onboarding email strategy and continue to enhance and develop the existing email platform while monitoring and responding to social media and email inquiries.
  • Work with SEO, OLA, and Social teams to assure all activities are aligned and are driving to the correct platforms  
  • Gather business requirements from business stakeholders and prioritize based on optimizations practices and key business drivers.
  • Work with the agency and vendors to ensure delivery dates and deadlines are met.
  • Experience managing projects and timelines based on business needs

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience  
  • 2+ years of digital marketing experience
  • Familiarity with digital / information technology languages / processes / interfaces such as XML, UI, API and others, as needed, along with knowledge of app development.
  • Competency in various PC software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Analytics
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
