Helpmates Staffing Services in partnership with leading, global Aerospace company is looking to fill immediate openings for 1st shift Expeditors.  Job is located in the area of Huntington Beach near Beach Blvd. and Warner.

Assists and supports co-workers in the procurement of goods and services such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts and supplies.



  • Ensures prompt delivery of requirements.
  • Expeditor monitors and expedites the flow of job orders within or between departments to insure prompt progress of goods to conform with production schedules and on time delivery to customers
  • Confers with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates.
  • Requests physical counts of raw material and work in process (WIP) inventory, identifying and solving inventory variances.
  • Reviews shortages in existing backlogs and advises planning department and management when on-time order delivery is in jeopardy
  • Works with Production planners on a daily basis to monitor any urgent requirements.
  • Prepare daily documentation and reports on progress of work and production issues
  • Participate in daily production meetings. Awareness of factory problems, situations, and current production schedule
  • Serve as a link between quality, engineering, customer service, production control and manufacturing to provide feedback on potential bottleneck areas.
  • Must be organized and possess time management skills and skills to adapt to priority changes.
  • Works in additional projects assigned by Management.



  • Five or more years of experience in purchasing are required.
  • Windows Operating system and Windows Office proficiency is required.
  • Knowledge in Drawing Applications and understanding of drawings is required.
  • Solid understanding of Production Planning and Production Scheduling best practices and principles is required
  • High school degree required or comparable 2 years experience of Customer service, expediting, supply chain or production
  • LN knowledge desired
  • Demonstrated ability to work well at all levels of the organization with both engineering and non-engineering personnel.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and solid track record of excellent customer service.




Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization, both oral and written.


Proven track record of exercising good judgment and track record of effective delivery.


Pay rate: $13-$16|
Temporary position for 90 days
