General Summary:

 

There are First and Second shift positions open:

1st:6am-2:30pm

2nd: 2:15pm-10:45pm

 

Under the guidance and direction of the Shipping Supervisor, this position works with multi-functional Distribution Center teams to control, regulate, monitor, prepare, facilitate, coordinate, conduct and maintain acceptable and accurate inventory levels. The Inventory Coordinator must be an outstanding detail-oriented person with first-rate organizational skills that exhibits above average capacity to pay attention to minimal elements. Constantly displays determination and leadership in order to find solutions and fix discrepancies or inventory potential errors displaying a real sense of urgency. Demonstrates excellent oral, written and verbal communication skills and displays a remarkable, professional and proactive Customer Service posture and attitude at all times.

 

 

Principal Roles and Responsibilities:

 

• Effective accountability of inventory management processes and standards.

• Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between various inventory locations.

• Create inventory locations as needed.

• Monitor and maintain temporary Warehouse locations within the established rules and parameters

• Conduct and coordinate inventory and cycle count adjustments.

• Problem solve missing inventory (short a/o extra) and make proper adjustments with an authentic sense of urgency.

• Ensure all inbound product is accurately received and posted on the system.

• Maintain reports and accurate data (i.e. Inventory Discrepancy Spreadsheet)

• Manage and provide receipts status in an effective, professional and friendly manner.

• Troubleshoot quantity and part numbers discrepancies with shipping and production personnel.

• Demonstrate leadership and initiative to investigate discrepancies at its source (DC Floor) by using, without hesitation, all available resources and equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, RF Guns and/or any systemic tool.

• Generate and analyze information gathered in order to identify potential flaws and explain process discrepancies.

• Prepare, coordinate, participate and follow up on physical inventory events twice per year.

• Communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with both internal and external customers.

• Maintain a professional and proactive Customer Service posture and attitude at all times.

• Ensure that the customer experience achieved is exceptional.

• Display promptness and responsiveness to support group requirements.

• Properly handles confidential information and records

• Responsible for monitoring deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining accurate logs

of all transportation and goods and meet certain deadlines as necessary.

• Assist clients with freight options and selection and pricing to improve transportation routes.

 

 

• Must be organized and logical, willing to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.

• Must be able to efficiently solve problems relating to sales, finance and transportation of goods in locations both national and overseas.

• Must be able to operate Microsoft Office and be familiar with any other software pertinent to your industry.

• Perform reporting and analysis as required to support business needs.

• Demonstrate regular, predictable and reliable attendance

• Work a flexible work schedule including extended hours and weekends as required.

• Demonstrate willingness to continuously learn and be open to feedback to improve individual performance.
