We are seeking an Administrative Assistant for a Non-profit Organization

Must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook

Typical office functions include typing, filing, scheduling, answering phones and data input, record keeping, coordinating meetings, ordering office supplies, coordinate direct mailings and other special projects as needed. You will have access to highly confidential information and must be able to answers routine correspondence. Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create, format and type correspondence, reports, and presentations
  • Receive, sort, and distribute files, forms, correspondence and documents
  • Schedules and coordinate meetings
  • Coordinates the troop financial assistance program
  • Assists in organizing department events
  • Maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the department
  • Order and track supplies and equipment for department
  • Answer inquiries by clarifying desired information, researching, discovering, and delivering answers
  • Utilize Salesforce
  • Establishes and maintains filing systems
  • Additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned                                          
  • Education:  High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required/ Bachelor degree preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of: Non-profit experience
  • Ability to work the standard schedule of:  Monday -Thursday
  • Must be a team player
  • Excellent organization and time management skills and flexibility to handle changing priorities
  • Computer savvy: proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Salesforce experience
  • Type minimum of 45 WPM
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned - Must be a team player
