We are seeking high energy; growth-minded OC Market Manager to support our Orange County market! The purpose of the OC Market Manager role within the Orange County market is to drive sales and recruitment efforts while determining the effectiveness of our interviewing and evaluation procedures, timely product delivery and while driving profitability of the business by creating a “Sales-oriented, candidate-driven” business environment. The OC Market Manager is responsible to lead, manage and actively participate in the sales and recruitment/service activities while overseeing the recruitment team.

The OC Market Manager responsibilities:

Recruitment

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the Helpmates recruitment and selection process, including the successful placement of specialists on a contingent or full-time positions.
  • Direct involvement with prioritizing and fulfilling all customer/prospect requests and orders.
  • Participate in the development and presentation of customer review programs, inside sales programs.
  • Develop, implement and measure the effectiveness of all recruiting plans.
  • Monitor, evaluate, train and mentor recruitment team members towards greater productivity.
  • Develop effective communication channels to support company overall objectives.
  • Supervise and ensure the activities of the recruitment team, assuming responsibility and accountability for success utilizing all correct priorities of all inside workflow, projects, and duties for timely completion

Sales

  • Display sales leadership through skill marketing, lead generation, and sales calls within clients and prospects to retain and attain new business.
  • Keen awareness of competitors’ activities in the market, including rates, and to take necessary steps to ensure that Helpmates is competitive in the market.
  • Insight in the OC Market area on various uses of temporary workers and to assist in the development of new ideas and applications of our services.
  • To make personal calls on all key accounts so as to familiarize oneself with the clients’ business and types of office workers.
  • To strive to increase the rapport between HSS and all of its clients.
  • Lead by example in communication with other offices in a positive and supportive style, to maximize the relationships, in order to improve sales and profitability.

 

 The OC Market Manager requirements:

  • High-energy, high-drive, growth-oriented mindset and—most importantly—a dedicated team player
  • 3+ years of experience within the staffing industry desired.
  • Prior sales experience with appointment setting, managing a territory and office experience
  • Effective interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and clients.
  • Strong comfort level with all MS Office applications
  • Proven track record of motivating, managing a team.
  • Effective team-building skills
  • Drive to build and maintain new relationships and sales accounts.
  • Calm, poised and professional phone etiquette with great follow-up protocols and habits.
  • Tireless but--at the same time--smartphone, email and communication habits.
  • Keen attention to the details but also being able to do the 360-degree birds-eye from time-to-time.
  • Unafraid to fail and try new things but too smart to try to fix what's not broken.
