Helpmates is currently looking for an outstanding Clinical Data Reconciliation Analyst for a well established community mental health center in Los Angeles

Job Summary:  The Clinical Data Reconciliation Analyst is responsible for clinical billing reconciliation clerical duties which include: research, reconciliation, and analyzing clinical data claim denials, etc.

 

 

Responsibilities of Clinical Data Reconciliation Analyst:

 

  • Review daily report of assigned clinical data denial claims encompassing an identified time period (weeks/months), perform analysis and reconciliation accordingly.
  • Analyze all possible “status” of claims and work continuously to move claims that have not yet been approved to the status of “approved”.
  • Identify claims that are in the “forwarded” status for more than 30 days and produce reports of such claims for further investigation via the LA County DMH.
  • Analyze claims to ensure that they become approved. Make sure that each claim is correctly categorized with an emphasis of maximizing Medi-Cal units.
  • Perform analysis of claims emanating from past periods to assist Company to achieve its goals of understanding why claims were previously denied.

 

 

Requirements and Qualifications of Clinical Data Reconciliation Analyst:

 

  • At least 2 years health care computer database, data research and reconciliation experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in a health care computer database windows environment preferred.
  • Must be organized, detail oriented and the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Good written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to interface with all levels of management and associates while building strong relationships.
  • Must have the ability to problem solve, meet deadlines and follow through on work assignments in a fast-paced environment.

 

 

Additional Info:

  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to work 8:30am-5:30pm Mon-Fri
