File Clerk — Urgently hiring in!

Job Title: File Clerk (Entry Level)
Pay: $18.50 hourly
Hours: 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, Monday through Friday
Start Date: 1-2 weeks

As a File Clerk, you'll support daily operations by organizing and managing files efficiently. You'll work closely with your team to meet deadlines and ensure smooth workflow while developing valuable skills in data handling and document processing.

What You'll Do


As a File Clerk, you will be responsible for:
  • Tracking and updating files, including filing back or withdrawing documents.
  • Handling document prep, scanning, sorting, and re-boxing mortgage files.
  • Sorting documents alphabetically or numerically by vendor.
  • Managing document signatures, including wet and dry signatures.
  • Assisting with the movement of boxes and reaching objects as needed to complete tasks.
  • Climbing ladders up to 6 feet, bending, stooping, reaching, and twisting regularly.
  • Managing multiple priorities and meeting strict deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Supporting team members with document organization and other clerical duties during training, which may last up to 1-2 weeks.

What You'll Bring


The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to pass a Live Scan background screening.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds (carts provided to reduce physical strain).
  • Comfort climbing ladders up to 6 feet high.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Reliability and a willingness to learn new skills.
