Entry Level File Clerk in Santa Ana — Urgently hiring

Job Title: Entry Level File Clerk
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with one Saturday every 4 weeks (minimum 6 hours)
Start Date: ASAP

As an Entry Level File Clerk, you'll play a vital role in supporting document organization and file management processes. You'll work closely with your team to ensure smooth operations and maintain quality standards, gaining valuable experience in administrative tasks that are essential across many industries.

What You'll Do
As a File Clerk, you will be responsible for:
  • Tracking files, including filing back or withdrawing documents, and updating records accordingly
  • Managing a high volume of documents in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Preparing, scanning, and sorting mortgage and other business files
  • Sorting documents by vendor in an alpha-numeric order and verifying signatures such as wet/dry signatures
  • Filing and re-boxing documents after completing each task to maintain organization
  • Using carts and reaching to push, pull, and handle objects as needed to complete your work
  • Managing multiple priorities simultaneously and adhering to strict deadlines
  • Climbing ladders up to 6 feet high, approximately 80% of your duties, to access files or storage areas
  • Performing bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, turning, and twisting throughout your shift

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. (assistive carts provided to reduce strain)
  • Comfort climbing ladders up to 6 feet high
  • Physical stamina to perform bending, reaching, and lifting daily
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail
  • A background check via Live Scan is required
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a clerical support role
