Operations Manager

We are recruiting for a direct hire position for our client located in San Pedro.

Daily operation planning and implementation

·Work directly with Canon to understand project concept, objectives and approach

·Takes assigned project from original concept to final implementation

· Works closely with team to define project scope and objective, creates and maintains project schedules by developing project plans and specifications including estimating resource, time and budget requirements and establishing deadlines

· Selects, develops and oversees an effective team

· Oversee the implementation of the operations on a daily basis with regard to resources, time, budget and quality to guide team,  in the implementation of the operation

Communication and Reporting:

· Provides single point of contact for assigned projects

· Identifies and coordinates assignments for internal resources and external carriers to meet Canons operations requirements

· Coordinates interactions and communication among internal and external resources

· Conducts project meetings

· Meets with project teams regularly to review operations status, deliverables and deadlines

· Provides timely reporting of issues that impact operations progress

· Provides continuous feedback to management team on status of daily operations, including miles stones, risks and constraints

· Prepare informal and formal status reports


·Works under the general supervision of GM, AGM, Sr Mgrs and provides direction to exempt and non-exempt personnel

· Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in marketing, business administration, economics.

· 15 years of business experience which include leadership and system process improvements  

· 10 Years of Management experience

· Knowledge of business requirements gathering and documentation tools and reporting tools
