We are looking for a sharp candidate to help our client that is growing by leaps an bounds! This person will administer the compensation and benefits programs in addition to providing expertise in HRIS/payroll. In this role you will focus on administration and innovation of processes and programs surrounding leaves (FMLA/CFRA, vacation, PDL, LOAs, etc.)

  • Overall management of multi-state payroll operations for 180 plus employees (bi-weekly) ensuring compliance with local, state and federal laws
  • Analyze and customize HRIS/ADP ensuring full utilization of system including implementation of self-service, analytics and reporting, organizational structure, etc.
  • Manage and track employee time off including vacation and sick time
  • Research, analyze and resolve payroll discrepancies, escalating when necessary
  • Serve as the primary liaison with ADP and other third-party providers
  • Develop and manage process, and ensure compliance with, applicable state and federal laws including CFRA, FMLA, FLSA, OSHA, ADA, etc.
  • Administer company-wide programs and policies with regard to Leave of Absences, Workers Compensation, 401k, health benefits, wellness programs, etc.
  • Perform benefit analysis and make recommendations
  • Develop and maintain compensation structure including creating and evaluating job descriptions, internal and external benchmarking, compensation analysis and ensuring compliance with FLSA and other applicable laws
  • Maintains professional knowledge and stays current of HR regulations and trends
  • Perform other duties or special projects as required
  • Extensive knowledge of HRIS – especially ADP/Workforce Now
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Benefits administration experience including health, FMLA, 401k, Workers Comp
  • Knowledge of current labor rules and regulations, wage and hour laws
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of HR compensation analysis
  • Working knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis
  • CPP preferred
