We are seeking a well rounded Senior Recruiter for a direct hire opportunity with a large organization in Orange County! The Senior Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization achieved through the development of local recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Senior Recruiter plays a critical role in ensuring the best possible talent is found and hired!

How YOU will make a difference:

  • Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs. Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with managers to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
  • Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone and in person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hiring and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt openings.
  • Facilitates New Hire Orientations and coordinates 90-day on-boarding efforts to ensure effective transition into the organization.
  • Uses traditional and nontraditional recruitment resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, trade organizations, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
  • Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.
  • Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
  • Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system.   Facilitates efforts to improve this process.   Ensures adherence to EEO, VETS, AAP and coordinates annual filings with outsourced vendors.
  • Advises employees and managers on HR programs and practices and ensures consistent application of policies and procedures. May assist with employee relations, performance management or other HR projects as assigned by the Manager, Human Resources.

Must haves to be considered:

  • 3- 5 years of experience in a Recruiter role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • HR certification is a +
  • Strong MS Office skills- Word, Excel and Outlook and HRIS
  • Prior Applicant Tracking Systems experience
  • Proactive, positive “Can do” attitude”
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking skills- ability to manage multiple projects; work in a fast paced environment and the ability to meet short deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
