Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

As a Senior HR Generalist, you'll play a vital role in fostering a positive workplace culture by managing employee relations, HR compliance, and strategic initiatives. You'll work closely with leadership and staff to streamline HR operations, enhance engagement, and ensure policies support organizational goals.

What You'll Do
As a Senior HR Generalist, you will be responsible for:
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and HR support within the organization.
  • Managing onboarding, offboarding, background checks, and maintaining accurate employee documentation.
  • Handling employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and coaching.
  • Analyzing HR data, employee feedback, and trends to develop retention and engagement strategies.
  • Developing and facilitating training programs, learning paths, and organizational resources to promote professional growth.
  • Supporting HR audits, preparing reports, and contributing to strategic planning initiatives.
  • Partnering with talent acquisition on hiring processes, workforce planning, and recruitment strategies.
  • Administering benefits programs, leave management, and open enrollment activities.
  • Leading faculty engagement efforts through surveys, community initiatives, and recognition programs.
  • Ensuring HR policy compliance and facilitating process improvements through automation and streamlined workflows.
  • Maintaining HRIS systems, dashboards, and organizational records for accuracy and reporting.
  • Supporting performance reviews, recognition initiatives, and team development activities.
  • Assisting with workers’ compensation processes and other cross-functional HR operational tasks.
  • Collaborating with leadership on strategic projects and departmental goals to foster a supportive and productive environment.

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, benefit administration, and HR analytics.
  • Certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume setting.

Location & Schedule:
This position is on-site in Los Angeles, CA, and follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
