The Staff Accountant oversees the full accounts payable cycle at the company's U.S. headquarters in El Segundo, CA, and frequently interacts with all departments in the company. The Staff Accountant is responsible for receiving, verifying and processing vendor invoices and employee reimbursements in accordance with the company’s T&E policy. The position also plays an important role in the monthly, quarterly and annual close processes.


Job Duties

  • Set up new vendors; receives and reviews purchase requisitions, check requests, and/or other related documentation.
  • Match original invoices and requests for payment with internal purchase orders or payment/wire requests.
  • Follow up on account statements and other discrepancies regarding payment of accounts
  • Serve as liaison between departments and vendors in the resolution of administrative problems and inquiries.
  • Scan & save invoices on shared drive; file hard copy of invoices.
  • Maintain accounts payable and file back-up documentation.       
  • Prepare monthly reports including credit card reconciliation, reconciliation of accounts payable account.              
  • Ensuring that employee expense reports follow the Expense Reimbursement Policy, ensuring proper back-up and entry into ERP.
  • Set up wire/ACH payments to vendors and apply wire/ACH payments in ERP ensuring proper backup is attached to wire/ACH confirmation along with a weekly check run.
  • Assist in the month end process; bank reconciliation, accruals with proper backup attached, updating of closing check list and prepare vouchers for journal entries.




  • Minimum of 3 year’s experience in a high volume Accounts Payable role
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills: ability to prioritize work and focus on meeting team deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Experience using Oracle ERP strongly preferred
  • Highly proficient with MS Office and Excel.
