Requirements, Skills, and Education


  • High school diploma
  • 3-5 years of experience providing general Help Desk support in a technical function/environment 
  • Basic network knowledge & understanding of permissions, shares, groups & policies
  • Outstanding customer service skills, with patience and desire to identify & resolve root problems 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work additional hours during the week and/or weekend and assist with general IT departmental needs if/when required 
  • Knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 10 and Mac OSX
  • Knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTP, HTTPS, Networking Concepts
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and group policy objects.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft applications and operating systems as well as troubleshooting methods.
  • Adding/deleting users in Active Directory and administering group policy objects.
  • Knowledge and experience using ticketing systems.
  • Must be flexible and able to work within a 24x7x365 support
  • Participate in on-call rotation (Currently 1 week per month).
  • Ability to communicate orally and written in a clear and professional manner
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to move or carry equipment weighing up to 60Lbs
